electricity shock!

so we got our revised quote at last......

Not quite what we expected.  This is the quotation to get electricity to the entrance of our farm....and then we have to take the power cables about 450 metres further to our compound.....
(Thanx anyway for the 5000 dollar reduction of the cost)

We really need a workshop....

We have been productive on the land the past year....

Clearing land....

                                              Infrastructure -  water pipes

 

                               Making fields and planting crops.....

                                                Infrastructure -  bridges.....

                        storm water drains.....

 


 clearing up after cyclone Evan.......

 Our containers arrived more than a year ago......

                                            but   now

                                                         it is time -

                                                                                     we need a workshop......

We had to pick up the  pre-fabricated walls/roofs of the workshop  that cyclone Evan has re-arranged or moved into new spots a few months ago....

hard work 

6 strong men......

                                       our rainy season.....

Still clearing up....and mopping up!

It feels like yesterday that our friend Pierre opened the storm water trenches....

The drains and trenches have not been kept open for many years and when we got our land we had a serious drainage problem during heavy downpours.....

It is now a year later.

In the meantime we have had cyclone Evan....

a category 4/5 cyclone

 The destructive winds caused havoc just a few months ago....

and now......

it is rainy season yet again......

Remember the nursery after Evan?

 

It got all cleared up in the meantime.....
